Music All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of the Gluckcast.

This is episode 12.

And, of course, this week we've got some penalty controversy to talk about.

We've got a big name contract extension and a muddy road course race ahead to discuss at Watkins Glen, at least in the campgrounds it looks like.

But first, let's not move too far past Texas Motor Speedway last weekend where we got our third test of the season on the 1.5 mile tracks, at least the non-super speedway version, not counting Atlanta.

Hendrick Motorsports was back in Victory Lane with Chase Elliott winning for the second time in

the first 11 races, despite Chevy adapting to a new body. We kept saying, well, I don't know,

what's this new body going to do? Are they there? What's got going on? Well, they've won. He's winning races. So there's obviously a lot going on

that with Hendrick, though, you've got Elliott third in points. You've got Larson is fast,

but giving too many points away. Byron's having the speed, but not always the finishes.

And Alex Bowman trying to get to momentum, keep going,

back-to-back third place finishes after being out of the car. So who better to discuss all the

goings on at Hendrick than NASCAR Hall of Famer Chad Canouse, the seven-time Cup champion

crew chief, who is now vice president of competition for Hendrick Motorsports.

I spoke to Chad a little bit before the show went live.
