Temper, do you have one?

Maybe you don't, maybe you're one of those very calm, steady people.

You know, I think about my mum in this case, like she has a lot of her own angst and anxiety on the inside,

but it's not expressed outwardly with anger.

She's not snappy, she doesn't really raise her voice, she's not quick to have a temper or a short fuse. On the outside a lot of the time she can be

or she could outwardly appear calm but I know there's a lot going on inside.

I used to have much more of a temper than I have now. I was quick to anger, quick to

feel frustration, extremely impatient. In fact, that's why I wrote, Let

It Be Easy. That's why I started the Let It Be Easy podcast, because they say that you read, you teach teach you write what it is that you needed and for me

allowing things to be easy allowing myself to not struggle and resist the

present moment to not feel like I have to be in control and tell everybody else how to live their lives,

that was a very, very necessary shift for me.

But I want to speak today about anger because sometimes I feel like it is the birth of some

of our worst decisions, some of our biggest regrets, some of our moments of looking back I really wish I didn't say that to that person I

wish I didn't lash out I wish I wasn't so quick to even end a relationship or make a very rash decision because that anger rises very quickly in the body, right? We have somatic symptoms too. We can can feel hot we can feel our heart racing

we can feel attencing sometimes we even make like a bit of a fist we can feel our

jaw clench if you're someone who has ever experienced anger or does experience anger or maybe does have a temper,

I would like to just offer a couple of ideas around this things that have helped me

that can potentially in a moment where you can feel anger arising or you know you're in a

situation where it could be triggered, something that could be helpful,

useful and soothing. Because look I've been married twice now and the temper that I've had in both marriages,
