Welcome to the treatment.

I'm Elvis Mitchell.

I'm sitting across from an artificially still euphoric teller, who we know, of course, from Penn and Teller, but he's a terrific director's first film. Documentary, Tim's Ramirez, playing for a qualifying run for the Oscar in Los Angeles and New York. And I have to ask you for those who don't know the film. And unfortunately,

there are a lot who don't yet to tell them what the film's about. The film is the story of an

eccentric and brilliant inventor who took on the challenge of figuring out a 350-year-old art mystery,

namely, how did Vermeer get that photographic accuracy in his paintings?

And it's quite a long adventure that he goes through.

It took him about five years, and the whole thought process took about 10 years,

but we compress it into a nice, neat 80 minutes,

rollicking 80 minutes that, even though it sounds like it must be terribly dry,

it's really not.

It's full of laughs.

It's not only that, but there's a thing that you guys do,

which I can say euphemistically BS, it was called,
