Summary

Have you ever dated someone you knew was terrible for you, and looked back thinking what the hell was that? Same. Between Tell Me Lies and Love Is Blind, we’re watching villains in real time and it’s easy to laugh from the couch, but it’s a lot less funny when it’s you. This episode we are talking about the 4 signs you’re dating your personal villain and why it can happen to anyone.

Hello, welcome to this week's episode I don't think.

0:16.5

I've got my, if you're watching this on YouTube, my blinds open behind me as you can see

0:20.4

because it's snowing. And I hate winter and everything in. But my, if you're watching this on YouTube, my blinds open behind me, as you can see, because

0:21.5

it's snowing.

0:23.5

And I hate winter and everything about it as I sit here with my heated blanket on me because

0:27.4

I'm fucking freezing.

0:28.4

But snowstorms are kind of cozy in my apartment because of all the big windows.

0:33.8

So with that said, let me complain a little bit to start the episode because that's

0:39.1

what we do. That's what I do. In usual typical fashion, I had a lot of technological issues

0:45.6

this week, as always. I recorded two episodes of the podcast on what was it Friday because I wanted

0:54.0

to have it done by the weekend. I was like, that's done, that's awesome. And I was thinking about maybe going to Hawaii this week because I have a friend who was going for work and she was like, I have a free hotel. It'll be like a great experience for you. You don't have to pay towards a hotel. It's a really nice spot. And I was on the fence about it. So I was like, I'm going to get these podcast episodes done and then I'll be able to decide. I'll have that off my chest. Anyway, I go to upload them and listen back to them. And my mic wasn't working the whole time. So the audio was just terrible because it was just like my phone audio and you could hear everything else in my apartment and it just sounded so bad. So I was like, Okay, I'm going to have to redo that. Didn't end up going to Hawaii because I was just feeling so overwhelmed.

Then I also waited to the last minute to the point where when I went to book the flight, it was completely sold out. And I was like, I would have booked it had it not have been sold out. And I'd be in Hawaii right now recording this there so low-key kind of

1:44.8

depressing anyway then of course today I was like I'll re-record the episodes but I went to sit down

1:51.2

to do it and my mic just wasn't working at all and my boyfriend went and got me a new chord to replace

1:55.8

the cord because it was a chord issue so god boss him I didn't crash out, but I wanted to. As I'm recording this,

2:03.3

I'm literally looking at the microphone. I'm like, I'm so paranoid that it's not working,

2:06.3

in which case I give up. There is no more, don't think podcast. But welcome to the show.

2:12.0

And if you're new here, thank you for joining. This is the podcast for anybody who needs a

2:17.2

break from their own brain. Today, what we're talking about, I've been watching a lot of TV, I think, just because there's a lot of good television right now. And when I say good television, I don't necessarily mean like good television. I mean entertaining television. First of all, Tommy lies. I won't do any spoilers if you haven't seen it. But what a show. I mean,

2:37.3

like there's nothing to replace it. Now that it's over, it's a new type of depression and grief I've

2:43.5

never experienced before because I'm like, what am I going to watch now? And don't try to suggest
