Summary
One night in April 2008, Queena Phu–just days after her 18th birthday and days before the senior prom she was prepping for–was returning books at the library when she was brutally attacked. Thankfully, she survived, but not without sustaining severe brain damage and losing her vision and ability to speak. Her friends and family jumped into action, and local law enforcement knew they needed to bring her attacker off the streets and to justice.
