Then Oklahoma mom was murdered and her body dumped in a trash can at her sunny suburban home,

and her own adopted son was arrested for the killing.

Police say 49-year-old Spring Weems was killed sometime January 21st.

Cops found her body after responding to her Edmund, Oklahoma home where neighbors reported two teen

boys fighting. One neighbor told local news outlets that she ran over to break up the fight and one of

the boys accused the other of killing their mother and stuffing her in a trash bin. And when officers

looked inside, they found weems. A teenager who has not been identified because he's a juvenile

was booked into a Canadian county detention center on a first degree murder complaint and connection to the death. Both of the boys had been adopted by Weems and was their sole caretaker. Police haven't laid out a motive for the killing or said exactly how Weems died. Investigators, they were interviewing neighbors as the investigation continues.
