Hi everyone, Colleen Patrick Gudreau here. I thought the last episode, the Love Letters

episode was going to be the last episode of the year, but I just wanted to send you a quick appeal.

To ask you to please go watch my TEDx talk called Animology, change your

language, change the world. Many of you are already familiar with my work on our animal-related words and expressions and

how I think they affect and reflect our treatment of and our relationship with animals and each other.

So what else can I say?

I'm urging you to go over to YouTube, type in Animology and make sure you spell it

a N-I-M-A-L like Animal O- animal o g y a lot of people spell it like it sounds a lot of

people i've been noticing spelling it a n i m o g y but you won't find it if you search for that.

So you can also go to joyful vegan.com and you can click on the link directly from my website,

my social media pages have it.

What I'm looking for is to get this talk out to as many

people as possible and of course because of COVID and I wasn't able to do the live

TEDx talk. It's a video, and really these videos are all about views and shares.

And what does that mean?

It means that I want people to hear this message because I feel so strongly about it,

about how we talk about animals and thus how we treat them and I think there's a real connection.

And one of the ways to get this in front of the most number of people is with Ted the organization recognizes

that a number of people are interested in a particular talk they bump it it could

even go on the main Ted website and so the only way that's going to happen is if the people who

already know me who already love me who I'm so grateful for would go and watch it

and share it with everybody they know.
