stolen item has finally been returned home. A silver pocket watch that was a prize possession of

Theodore Roosevelt, a keepsake given to him by his sister and her husband in 1898 before he became president, a watch that would travel with him around the world and end up at Segamore Hill, his home on Long Island, New York, and now a natural historic site.

Well, that watch went missing in 1987. That year, it went from a museum piece to a stolen item when someone took it from an

on-locked case at the Theodore Roosevelt inaugural Natural Historic Site in Buffalo, New York,
