a year I've been out and about heading out bear hunting with Anders today so hopefully something hits the ground but kind of a

weird chain of events coincidence whatever you want to call it Mike Hearns drew a mountain goat

tag in a wilderness area this year. I had a friend, I say a friend, a guy that I had met while hunting in that unit many, many years ago. He was the outfitter in that area. I called him to see if he could pack us in and he did not answer the phone, someone else did,

struck up with that conversation with that person. He ended up actually buying the outfit from my buddy

Which is who is on the podcast today his name is Ted binge I know absolutely nothing about Ted

We talked for about 10 minutes on the phone,

but I really like the area.

It seemed like a super cool dude.

He's involved a lot of conservation in Colorado.

Oh yeah, yeah, no problem. So the name of the business now is the same as before it's capital peak

outfitters or tell everybody the area that that kind of thing where you're out of.

Yeah, thank you so it's called called Capital Peak Outfitters, and we operate primarily out of the Capital Creek area above old snowmass just outside of Aspen, Colorado. So we're in Elkin Deer GMU's 43 and 47.

We also have permit areas across the valley

on the other side of Aspen.

We're in Mountain Goat GMU 12 and Big Horn Sheep GMUs 13 and 25. So we have a really cool

suite of offerings that's just absolutely stunning country.

I mean, like you said, Aaron, you've been up there before and it's some of the most beautiful

country in the world, of course I'm biased, but it's pretty fantastic.

We've got a lot of really healthy goat populations. Big horns are doing well. There's
