Okay, we've been going sort of topic at a time trying to do stuff that might hit with the audience.

And this one came up early on the list. It was my dad's idea talking about various sort of issues or cultural concerns today. So maybe I'll let him explain it. But the general idea is we cannot fix the world.

We cannot save the world with technology.

And we've done episodes on technology before.

We've done episodes on science before, probably some stuff on human progress.

But I think this comes up in order to encompass technology meaning more than one thing.

So not just your iPhone or your computer or this fancy video call that we can record a podcast on. But to mean sort of any human

invention, including let's say medical ones or ones around life comforts, your fridge,

air conditioning, I don't know, whatever. So, Dad, maybe you can give,

this was an idea you threw out there.
