We're going to talk about the Ukraine situation, obviously, and the role of technology in this awful situation we find ourselves in.

But before we do that, just a few words for the sake of our listeners about what Digital Europe is

and what it does.

We are the main organisation for Digital in Europe, as the name says.

We represent around 36,000 companies across Europe, small, big, within different sectors, all the way from

banking and health, two of words, of course, the players that you all know from Siemens to Google

and others.

We set the scene.

Well, the world was turned upside down on the back of the pandemic, and society became much

more digital savvy on the back of the pandemic, which has

now been reaching course for two years with possibly an end in sight of sorts. But now the world's

been up turned upside down on the back of the Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Can you tell me how you

see the role of your member companies in this conflict. What contribution can tech companies make
