Tim and David discuss playlists and mixtapes, and the discovery of new music then and now. Tim has an update on the iMac from OWC! John Nemo does not use his powers to tell us about a program before we need it, Senuti, and David fill us in on a cool iPad mix app called djay iPad. 0:09.9	So, David, it is, I'm in my second week now with the new IMac.
0:14.9	And when we left off, we were spending a lot of time trying to rebuild my iTunes library because it pretty much nuked.
0:23.7	And like I said, I didn't really care about the movies of the TV shows because you don't create playlist.
0:29.6	You can, but I never have.
0:32.5	And that data was still kind of there, but not really.
0:35.7	But I didn't care because I used Plex for that stuff.
0:39.7	What I was mostly concerned about was rebuilding my iTunes music library playlists.
0:47.8	Even better would be the play counts and ratings, but that's gone forever.
0:54.5	I was trying software as we were talking on the show,
0:58.9	and I decided I'll try it afterwards, right?
1:03.0	Yeah.
1:03.2	Well, I was correct in my fear that the Mac decided to nuke all the playlists on that iPod.
1:16.9	It rebuilt one through that software I was using.
1:21.6	And when it was done with that, iTunes at that point had decided,
1:25.8	ah, look, here's an iPod. I'm not going to ask. I'm just
1:29.6	going to go ahead and nuke the whole thing and get rid of all these playlists that I don't have
1:34.5	in my system, so he must not want them on his iPod either. And it's all gone.
1:41.7	No dialogue, by the way, none. I was sure it asked you a dialogue before, but...
