And welcome to TechFan number 231.

I'm recording to you from the UK on a Sunday afternoon.

It's one of those bright, cold but very, very sunny days.

Kind of pretty really.

A little bit sleepy, you kind of wander around the place on the Sunday afternoon

and because it's bright and cold there are people out and about but

you know he kind of has that kind of sleepy, quiet, everybody's taking easy kind of air which is nice this

time I quite enjoy it.

So today I've been to a, it was it kind of a mix of a memorial service and awake I guess.

So the situation is that my grandmother died a couple of weeks ago.

She was 99. In fact, she should have been 100 tomorrow. And that was kind of why we were planning

to have a party for her. So despite the fact she died before she reached 100, we, everyone was planning to get together anyway.

People had travel arrangements, more people arranged to travel over for the funeral and then kind of hang around for the party.

So we decided to have it anyway.

And really make it a bit more of a celebration of her life rather than a sad occasion. And the reason I raised this on

this show, more than anything else, is it kind of got me thinking because one of my cousins had,

she'd been asking for this for months. She'd been asking for videos, photos, pictures, anything

related to my grandmother.

And she put together kind of a half an hour video presentation that we played at this gathering this afternoon

of my grandmother's life. And I had a mix of stuff in it. It had some video interviews with my grandmother when

...
