Well, I ran across this story at the Washington Post.

It was this little tiny story that didn't get a lot of traction.

And it was about all these documents that researchers found from the Georgetown School of Law.

I know.

It sounds kind of boring.

But just listen to this.

What they found is that the U.S. government, yes.

Our government is buying, in their words, hundreds of millions of phone, water, electricity,

and other utility records while pursuing immigration violation.

So that smart device that you have, that smart speaker, that smart television, whatever it may have,

is that it's putting out a whole bunch of data.

So now U.S. immigration and customs enforcement, they're actually getting that data.
