big COVID vibe check. We're in that part of the annual COVID discourse cycle where denial is very

thick. Summer vibes are lingering heavy, and we've seen some small updates

here and there, solidifying, reinforcing, institutionalizing, and making official. A lot of the

very bad dynamics that we've been calling out for over a year and a half now. And since our last

big COVID check-in, there haven't been a lot of big changes, but there have

been some small and crucially important updates that are going to shape the experience of so-called

living with COVID moving forward. So today we're going to check back in on those updates and the

push to the private market, the commercialization of COVID tools and treatments that has been

the drumbeat of the Biden administration for months now.
