Just wanted to give everyone a quick update and introduce today's show.

So we're still in the thick of it here in Minneapolis.

Contrary to reports, the Trump administration has in no way de-escalated or changed their tactics.

In fact, last week they more or less used the public perception that they have de-escalated

to convince a federal judge not to intervene in Minnesota's lawsuit demanding an end to Operation Metro Surge.

So any suggestion that they've changed course is simply propaganda.

ICE continues to surge in the Twin Cities, including an incident early Sunday morning,

where federal agents swooped in and gassed people at what is actually Baby Death Panel's favorite park here in Minneapolis.

There wasn't anything going on in the park either.

As far as I understand it, people just noticed that feds were gathering near the

park. They started to gather themselves and warn neighbors, and ICE just swooped in to indiscriminately

gas them and abduct one of the observers. This came just a day after feds gasped people at a march in

Portland, Oregon, including a lot of children. All of this is to say, these events over the weekend,

as well as the measles outbreak at the Dilley Family Detention Center in Texas, where Liam

was being held until his release this weekend, and ICE's ongoing abduction of children and

their caregivers. One school in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, for example, reports ICE has kidnapped

three of their students, a preschooler, a second grad example, reports ICE has kidnapped three of their

students, a preschooler, a second grader, and a fifth grader, and 25 other families have had a

parent or guardian detained. And this is just at one school. All of that has made us want to revisit
