All right, hello everybody. Welcome to yet another Gaslit Nation bonus episode. Today we're

going to discuss Biden State of the Union address, which happened on Tuesday. We're also

going to get to the questions that have been sent in from you. Our wonderful Patreon subscribers.

So I'm going to just be clear. I didn't watch the speech. I was at a concert that my

daughter was giving. So I didn't see it live. And I have honestly found these state of

the Union speech is very painful to sit through for various reasons. I discussed this in

the regular episode how under Obama, you know, there's this constant feeling of, of

well of gaslighting of him describing in America that was wonderful and prosperous and that

I did not recognize it all in the aftermath of the 2008 financial collapse and I kept

thinking how nice it would be to actually live in the America that Obama was claiming existed

with Trump. Of course, you know, it's a very different kind of horror. It's a, you know,

open full throttle fascist war cry, which was also difficult to sit through. So what

I usually do is I, you know, I read the speeches. And so that's what I did with Biden's speech.

And I have to say right from the beginning, it was hard, it was hard to continue reading.

I think some of the worst parts of this speech, some of the most offensive parts that I'm

going to get into come right at the beginning. And then the rest, you know, goes into details

for policy plans about the economy, sort of about gun control about issues. But all right,

I'm just going to read to you. This is what Biden said in his speech. This is a little

excerpt. He says, we're the only country that has emerged from every crisis we've ever

entered stronger than we got into it. Look folks, that's what we're doing again. Two years

ago, the economy was reeling. I stand here tonight after we've created with the help of

many people in this room, 12 million new jobs, more jobs created in two years than any
