And today we're going to be talking about an amicus brief that Jules herself co-authored,

which has been submitted to the Supreme Court in the

context of a case on their docket for the new term that's going to start on October 7th,

and this case deals with one of the state-level attacks on trans youth in the United States.

Specifically, this case, United States v. Kermedi, considers Tennessee Senate Bill 1,

which is similar to laws that have been

enacted in 25 different states so far. And the law prohibits all medical treatments intended

to allow, quote, a minor to identify with or live as a purported identity inconsistent with

the minor's sex, unquote, or to treat, quote, purported discomfort or distress from a
