0:38.4	National Convention in Milwaukee, which was truly a wild spectacle, especially Trump's 90-minute
0:44.0	speech, which included props, a kiss blown to Kid Rock, and lots of violent posturing about
0:48.8	the border. But before we get into that, we're going to talk about a last-minute update
0:52.7	regarding the Democratic ticket that has shifted our plans a bit for today's discussion. As I'm sure most listeners know,
0:58.9	over the weekend on Sunday afternoon, around 2 o'clock p.m. Eastern time, Biden announced via
1:04.3	a letter that he posted to Twitter that he was dropping out of the presidential race and endorsing
1:09.0	his VP, Kamala Harris.
1:14.9	While pressure for Biden to drop out had already been mounting for months, as we discussed on last week's patron episode, a lot of that was centered around his age and mental capacity,
1:20.0	not the many, many other very valid reasons to take issue with him politically.
1:24.5	Part of this has clearly been driven by COVID.
