Accommodations All Wrong by Alan Levinovitz, which was published

in the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Basically, the core critique of the article is rooted in the idea that accommodations are

being overused, abused, and wasted, which, according to the author, leads to overwhelmed

faculty, a misallocation of resources,

and compromised academic standards. Levinovitz argues that colleges and universities are being

forced to bend too far to accommodate those claiming disability, benefiting students that the
