again it's one of those things where the program exists but there are just going to be a lot of cases

where either people miss the letter or they don't care about the letter you know it looks like a

fucking scam all letters I just assume every single letter I get in the mail is a scam or an ad or whatever.

So you have to be really careful if you're going to send me a letter to make sure it looks like a real letter.

Or, you know, they're like, you know, this sounds like a lot of work and it was a lot of work.

Or, you know, they had already found another job or something,

you know, like just the, and this goes back to the original point about this program being

kind of a, you know, a cardboard cutout, which is that if you do a program like this, but you don't

do anything to ensure that it is easy to access. And, you know, it reminds me of all the discussion, and it sort of hurts to think about, but in the 2020 primary, you know, I remember reading like, you know, fucking Pete Buttigieg's, like, healthcare plan or whatever. And just, you know, just thinking they would, you know know these candidates would go out there and they

would just say stuff like I'm going to give health insurance to everyone who's unemployed and it's

like or I'm going to give health insurance to everyone who is under a certain income level it's going

to be a public option for people who are under a certain income level or whatever and it's like

how are you going to do that you know no, no, they never thought about something like, you know, like Pete Buttigieg would say,

you would automatically get health care. You'd automatically get health insurance if you were under a certain

income level. And that is just nonsense. That is just complete nonsense because there is, there is no

way for the government to know what

your like real-time income is.

You know, think about how something like Medicaid works, you know, where outside of the

pandemic, you're constantly having to reaffirm that you don't earn over a certain amount

or whatever.

And they are monitoring like, you know, in most states they do monitor like real-time income or whatever with sources that they have. But then, you know, if they think you're earning too much, you have to prove that you're not. And it's a huge hassle. It's a huge hassle. And people are criminalized, too, and held liable for penalties when they can't prove that they aren't earning enough. And, you know, then they're,
