Today we're having a very lovely episode, or I hope at least, you guys let us know,

where we're going to cover a topic that hasn't gone too many, I guess, too much attention,

just for the needy-gritty of it. It's kind of a background thing going on,

and that's understandable because there's an ongoing genocide, so you might have missed it,

or at least the details of it. And that is the, um, the blockade and they're at sea by Yemen,

the background to it, their conflict against the settler colonial entity, that is Israel,

what their capabilities are, and just the general history and, the trajectory of all those interesting things.

We're going to have a bit of a back and forth between all of us.

J.T. is going to cover some of the U.S. reactions to everything that's going on there,

the potential or infeasibility of an American military response, why, and so on and so on and forth.

I'm going to start us off with some preliminary context otherwise.

Then we're going to have it off to our beautiful Hugo,

who's going to talk about exactly why the blockade took place,

how, what are they blocking, and the results.
