July 31st, Trump signed an executive order that placed huge and sweeping tariffs on over 60 countries, ranging from 10% to 41%.

Now, 60 countries is a lot, and it even included some of the U.S.'s so-called friends like Canada,

the EU, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

So far, this round of tariffs has had the same initial effect as the last batch.

The announcements triggered a sharp drop in global markets and sparked stern statements and protests from trade partners.

But unsurprisingly, U.S. trade partners were not the only ones pissed off.

The domestic stock market also took a plunge with the S&P suffering its largest dip in over three months.

The tariffs coupled with a poor jobs report.
