I'm going to be a sports team the number one sports podcast in the local area and probably more than the local area.

What's the local area? It's in determinants between like 10 miles and maybe a hundred thousand miles.

I don't know how far if it's like number one in the world it could be light years. I don't know.

I do not know sports very well even after all these episodes. So I am kind of representative of the audience side that is not die hard sports fans or maybe not aware of the world of sports.

But Tyler here is an expert. Well, I have a master's degree in sport administration.

We went through a whole episode that was like, you are an expert. You're as much of an expert as it qualifies to be an expert.

That's fair. That's fair. It's just very difficult for me to accept the term expert because you know, you look in the mirror and you're like,

you're smart, but also like, are you that smart? Oh, yeah. Don't be a getistical.

I was like, you look in the mirror like you may be handsome, but don't think that you're smart. You can't be both.

But he is everyone at home. He is both. It's stunning. Wow.

Well, today we are going to be doing an episode talking about individual sports and team sports. But before we kick it off, I want to go ahead and dedicate this episode to a late friend of mine who recently passed away tragically.

Her name is Denise. And she's a big reason why throughout grad school that I made it through grad school.

We worked together on a lot of projects. There's numerous papers in there. Like any time I think about my master's degree or school in general, Denise comes to mind because we just spend a lot of time together.

And every single note talking about intricacies of everything that goes on in the sporting world, especially on the business side and ethics and various other things.

They've always been in my mind. They were the first person that I messaged when the podcast first aired just being excited about and wanting to talk to them about it.

And hopefully I was hoping to eventually maybe have them on an episode, but unfortunately they passed away and they're a very big part of my life. And so I just wanted to take a moment to honor them and immortalize them in the best way that I could with this podcast episode.
