We're kind of rolling on with the college football talk and we're talking about the SEC.

And we've already kind of talked about some of the key storylines here.

Now we're going to kind of go through, you know, some of the teams that we like, some of the teams that we still have questions about now that spring has concluded for them. And, you know, Brian, where we start

with this one, it's, look, at the end of the day, there's only so much that you can learn

about a team through 15 spring practices. You can draw conclusions, you can project out.

You still have the majority of the offseason to go.

But there are some teams in here at the top that we like.

And some of it's a little bit of confirmation bias of like, hey, this is our hypothesis going into spring.

And through their first 15 practices of the off season, they've done these things that I like answered some of these questions.

And some of them we've already talked about.

But first and foremost, before we dive into the teams, man, I think that's where we have to start with this is there's still the bulk of the off season to go. It's not the end-all, be-all talking about the teams that we like. And it's also not the death sentence for teams that we have questions about. there's still a long way to go before they have to be game ready.

Yeah, there's no question, but it's one of those things we're like, okay, coming out of the spring, these are the teams that we believe have positioned

themselves to say, hey, we're going to be a player this year, or, hey, we've answered some

questions this year. And that's kind of where we are. And in travel, it starts, obviously,

down in Austin, Texas. Yeah, man, I mean, Texas is one of those programs that we were extremely

high on coming into the, coming into the off season. And a lot of that talk was around the

offense. It was Archmanning going into year two. They get Cam Coleman out of the portal. Ryan Wingo is going to be a year older. So we liked a lot of what they had going on down in Austin. But the biggest emergence and one thing that makes me feel a lot more confident about them is for something we talked about before and it's the outlook of their defense. Will Mustamp coming in? I did not love that higher. I thought firing Pete Kukowski was, he was just kind of the scapegoat for the lack of production that they had on offense. They didn't lose the Red River shootout because of their defense. That's for sure. Or I believe that did it. Who won the Red River shootout last year? That what Texas did win it. They beat Oklahoma convincingly. Yeah. Yeah. But their issues last

year were not on defense in my opinion. But Steve Sarkeesian can't fire himself, you know,

and he was the offensive coordinator. He was the offensive play caller. And so when I go and I look

at what Texas did so far this off season,

they simplified their defense.
