I've got two gentlemen that are joining me. They've found time in their busy schedules to come on down to Cooper, Texas and break bread and share some of their experiences within the canine industry.

Now, as most of you know, my involvement in the dog industry is pretty significant and what I like to do is routinely bring you glimpses and snapshots into that world, that lifestyle.

And it really is a lifestyle and I think for a lot of you listeners out there that aren't involved or can necessarily relate to the canine industry and the dog communities that we're a part of.

I find that it's both fascinating and really important to be able to bring to you guys elements of this industry and this lifestyle that our canine officers face day in day out, that our police officers face day in day out because there are a lot of misconceptions.

And there's also a lot of assumptions made by people out there that are just frankly not true. And so we're going to fucking clear that up today.

I've got two guys with me that I've known for a long time and also have their own podcast working dog radio. But we're going to get right into it.

We're going to introduce both of them and we're just going to start bouncing stuff off of off of each other. So my first guest has spent 23 years as an active duty police officer.

He's currently the canine trainer and a former handler for a very busy department in Northeast Ohio. He was also part of the alum of being a multi-purpose canine trainer for naval special warfare on the west coast, just like yours truly.

I'm going to get in. I'm going to introduce the next guest when we get to him. But what I always like to kind of start off with a lightning round where we talk about just kind of a few random questions and get into the meat and potatoes if you will.

But just kind of getting your getting your brain going and you know, I like to fuck with people frankly.

So one of the first things that I ask everybody is what is your morning routine look like?

So my morning routine is 445 wake up.

Use that my phone on the floor next to me. Use that alarm. Get up.

Stare at my pillow for about two minutes trying to convince myself that I should probably lay back down before or after you bite it.

Yeah, right. Those are earlier. So get up 445. Get myself kind of ready. I use that my bag packed and I head over to my kennel.

It's about six minute drive from my house to the kennel. I get dogs break them. Feed them if I'm going to feed them in the morning at all.

Load them up in my van and I head north to the city I work in. It's about 30 minute drive 25 30 minutes.
