Summary

Hey friends! On today’s show, we are discussing some practical ways to implement rhythms of instilling Biblical truths in your household from the time your kids are very little all the way through their young adult years. The Bible tells us that when we train up children in the way of the Lord, they will not depart from it when they are older (proverbs 22:6). And when Jesus was asked about the heavenly kingdom, he took a child and said “the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). Little children have a special place in God’s heart, and he has entrusted us as parents and guardians to care for them in the same way the Lord cares for us. Let us know what you found helpful in the comments below!

We are also excited to officially announce to our AFM+MH family a special project we’ve been working on called “Bible Stories for Kids” app! If you want a screen-free, immersive audio experience for your children that can be played at home, in the car, or as your child is being lulled to sleep, this is the app for you! You can check it out and download at this link: https://biblestoriesforkids.app/

God bless you!

Hello you guys guys welcome back to S for me in my house I'm Elena and I'm Jordan today we're going to be talking about sharing the gospel with your little's I think this is

0:20.0

something that people assume you can't do until your kids are six and older or are able

0:27.3

to fully grasp these really big ideas, but we just really want to encourage you that

0:32.2

Deuteronomy six makes it very clear that we are to teach our children

0:36.9

day and night about the gospel and about Jesus.

0:40.0

And so we want to kind of break that down in a very practical sense.

0:44.8

For those who have kids, I would honestly say like three and under,

0:48.6

these are really practical things that you can apply. very exciting too is that we have our app that we just

0:57.1

launched that is for kids so it's Bible stories for kids and we are so excited about that so we won't talk too much about the specifics of

1:06.0

the app in today's episode but we do want to let you know that is a tool that you can add into your little pocket of things to use.

1:15.7

So first thing I think that is really important and Jordan is sipping some tea and he,

1:21.6

his throat is bothering him a little bit so I will be kind of taken over

1:25.6

some of you will be very pleased to hear that that Molina is taking over more.

1:31.3

I would say when it comes to sharing the gospel with your kids there's three main things that we really need to address and

1:39.1

Cannot

1:41.3

Dole down or kind of skip past. I think we also think that our kids aren't able to

1:48.6

understand these big ideas, but again we really want to challenge that and I

1:52.4

think an issue and something that can be really, really dangerous that we do is doling down the gospel and the integrity of it

2:03.2

to be something that our kids can digest.

2:05.3

And sure there are certain stories and certain things

2:07.7

that you can quote unquote like Dole Down

2:09.5

or make a little bit more appropriate for children,
