Elaine Dalton was born and raised in Ogden, Utah, and received her bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young University. She served alongside her husband, Stephen, in a singles ward bishopric and in stake callings, then at the general level of the Church for ten years on the Young Women general board and as the first and second counselor of the Young Women general presidency. She was called as Young Women general president from 2008 to 2013. Elaine and Stephen are the parents of five sons and one daughter and the grandparents of 16 grandchildren. 1:09.3	I had the opportunity to be invited onto a cruise that Latter-day Travel put together and they had a series of
1:16.8	speakers on that cruise. I was one of those speakers and they really made it a fun sort of educational week type feel for those passengers that came on that cruise and it was a Mexican Riviera cruise.
1:29.2	So we saw some beautiful parts of Mexico and you know just spent time on an incredible cruise ship and during that time I got to meet some really cool people and interview some really cool people and one of those people I got to interview was sister Elaine Dalton. Her and
1:45.3	her husband were on this trip and she was one of the handful of speakers that they
1:51.6	had and so while we are on this cruise ship,
1:55.6	we arranged it for me to interview Elaine Dalton,
