privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every week

to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement, and I am just so

glad that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello, my dear friends. How are you today? This is Sally Clarkson, of course, and I am so happy that you joined me.

I have so many things bubbling around in my mind right now, but at the moment, I have pecanes roasting in the oven to put, to waiting for just the tiniest little bit of some

olive oil and sea salt to toss them in and I've got my chocolate chip oatmeal cookies

all placed on a tray ready to be baked because in about less than an hour I have a friend coming to visit.

A dear friend, a young man that we adopted many years ago.

Not really that we adopted, but we kind of tend to adopt people in our lives that the Lord brings into our context.

And this is a friend that we met when we sang professionally

in the play, The Promise, and we all traveled to Moscow in Russia to perform it in the Kremlin Palace

Theater. And he was great friends with my kids and also

with Clay and me. And so he's coming in a few minutes. And also, many of you know my sweet friend,

Ainsley Arment, she is the founder of Wild and Free Conferences. And she's just been with me for three days.

I don't think any two people have ever talked more in their whole lives than we did this

weekend.

We share philosophy and ideas and purquests and children and fun and just everything in the world.

And so I am bridging this podcast between two very dear people to me.

So life is kind of busy today. Anyway, I have lots to share. So I'm going to jump in to some of the

things that I've prepared for you. First of all, I kept getting letters from people who

wanted me to give the whole list of World War II books. Well, I don't even think I can find
