Hello friends, welcome to Life with Sally. I am nursing a little bit of a cold, a respiratory throat infection sort of thing that my sweet husband Clay was kind enough to give to me. We've heard of going around in many places from neighborhoods to

churches to just friends' houses. But I haven't been sick in so long that I said to Clay,

just stay away from me. I don't know where you got it. And of course, I did get it. But I hope that you can

listen to me today and that I won't be too distracting. I've had kind of a sort of an interesting

day to day, so I hope I can get through this podcast because it seems that things keep interrupting

me. But I don't know about most of you,

but we've still had lots of snow. As a matter of fact, the snow that came to the ground in December

has still not totally melted in our yard. And so I, you know, we kind of tend to go on with life, but wouldn't you know that I

ordered about 11 items from Amazon that I thought, okay, I've got plenty of time to get these

items here because in it was a gift that I wanted to give to a friend to celebrate her life.

And there were some, just all sorts of things that I needed.

And so I was contacted by Amazon last week that we are not going to be able to deliver

your things today because of the heavy snowstorm,

but we will have it to you by 5 o'clock in the morning tomorrow.

Well, of course, 5 o'clock in the morning the next day came and went,

and then I kept watching and watching.

I thought, well, surely, you know, something is going to work itself my way. And so, to make a very

long story short, this is Monday and nothing had come. And it's been about a week since it was

supposed to get here. So I called customer service today. And I'm not going to even tell you
