Hello, my dear friends, it's Sally Clarkson, and I am so glad you joined me today. I am finally back. I think last week was the first time, or maybe one of the first times where I just didn't do a podcast at all. I did one for you, obviously, but it wasn't a prepared one in maybe five or six years.

So I decided I need to really make up for it today. But Clay and I celebrated our 44th anniversary, and we were in the mountains, took a lot of beautiful pictures. It's just so gorgeous in the place

and that you've had time to celebrate life a little bit in this past season. Well, I'm going to jump

into our lesson today because it's a little bit longer than some of my podcasts, but I'm telling you, I have really, really been so encouraged by me having to study and organize and put together the outlines for the fruit of the spirit.

Because I think that what we can really see in this particular passage when it says the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
