Well, today is the 1st of January, quite a time to be recording the Tea Time Tuesday.

And I've been pondering a lot of little things in my heart to share with you today.

My kitchen window by my kitchen sink where I wash dishes looks out on a lovely little patch

of wood. I've seen a baby deer born on the grass below when we were

watching from this window. It's on the middle floor and of course we look out on this little wood that's on the

basement level of our house and so we watched this mother dear give birth to a baby

dear and it was just amazing.

But also, it is a place where, as you see in the picture today with this podcast,

I have had countless spectacular sunsets and I took this

picture just the other day when the sun was setting again all ablaze with color and fire.

And I was thinking about it, as you do when you're washing tishes,

even as the sun sets on another day.

It closes the doors of possibilities of life and work that

day. Sun sets are a closure, an ending.

So in the same way, I was realizing that another year like a sunset comes to a

close. There's no more work that you can be that you can complete in that year.
