Summary

An important long journey in my life has been to rid myself of guilt for not living up to my ideals, for stumbling, and instead moving in the direction more toward God’s unconditional love, grace for me and His gentleness, His grace gives strength for my every day when I choose to rest in Him.

Hello, my precious friends. How are you? I am Sally Clarkson. I'm so glad you're here to spend this time with me. I have, for those of you who are new, I find out that there are new people every week to my podcast. For those of you who are new to me, I am a mom of four adult children. I live in

about how much they love the book, love the pictures, and have loved the podcast series.

1:51.2

So I'm very grateful for that.

1:53.7

2:03.2

say, I'm burning out, I feel like a failure, I don't know how to go forward, I am struggling

2:10.1

with this thing. Well, I think it's kind of a time when we are not really prepared for the arduous tasks of motherhood, that it's a marathon

2:21.0

of giving, giving, giving for many years. And then they're gone. As many of you know,

2:26.8

whose children, adult children have gone, and you miss them after all these years.

2:31.0

But anyway, today is a little bit of a story. I'll be reading you a story about

2:38.3

something that happened to me. You know, I just really hate to blow it. I hate to lose my

2:45.4

temper. I hate to ever be imperfect, but none of us are perfect. And I'll share a little bit about that with you today.
