Bonjour and welcome to the 240th edition of Tranquility DeJure.

Today's show features upcoming happenings and Main Street Vegan with Victoria Moran. I'm so excited to share her

amazing work with all of you. I met her at the In Factory Farming Conference, but had been

following her for years, and I'm delighted to share that she'll be the guest speaker at the

September 19th 20th anniversary extravaganza for

Pigs Animal Sanctuary in Washington, D.C. So please be sure to come out and see her for that.

And also D.C.er, she's going to be in town on May the 10th at 8 p.m. at Bus Boys and Poets. So

super exciting. And can't wait to meet up with her there

and say a big hello and congrats on this amazing, amazing new book. Workshops and retreats. I want

to share a few fun things that are going on, one that is a brand new, which is the Tranquility

summer camp. So there are only a few spots available and it's July 19th through the 22nd.

And you know, I was just thinking as a child, it was so fun to go off to summer camp and

why don't we have that now for ourselves as adults. And so I came up with

this idea two weeks ago while I was hosting our spring retreat out here at our West Virginia

cabin, actually my boyfriend's West Virginia cabin. And it was just such a delightful experience. And so I thought,

well, why not add on a couple days and make it a summer camp for

women? So I've also got a few guest teachers on board who'll be teaching. One will be teaching us

all about watercolors. And then another one who will be teaching us how to hand knot a mala necklace,

beautiful glass pearls. And then we'll come away with new watercolors and

new watercolor images that we've created and the know-how to do it. It's so much fun. And this teacher

is amazing, Mary Catherine Star, and then Carol Myers for the mallas. And I just think it'll be so
