We are happy to be joined by the head coach of the TCU Horn Frog. Sunny Dykes joining us on Heartland College Sports. I'm Pete Mundo. It's great to have Coach Dikes here as we are just a few months away from getting the 2024 college football season underway. Coach, first things first. When you look at this time of the year in particular, it feels like it's the only

0:21.1

downtime for you guys. The cycle never ends. The spring portal window just, of course,

0:25.9

wrapped up. How has your schedule changed as a head coach as a CEO in this new world of

0:32.4

college football of NIL, transfer portal windows, and all the recruiting craziness you still have

1:17.4

And, you know, for us, we've got a really busy camp calendar coming up in June.

1:23.0

We host a really big camp the very first weekend of June every year.

1:27.5

We'll have about, I don't know, 4,000, maybe 4,500 kids at that camp over those two days.

1:34.3

And so it'll be, we'll be busy.

1:36.6

And so a lot of prep goes into that and gives us a chance to do those things.

1:40.0

And as you said, you know, used to be camps only in June.

1:44.4

Now you're doing official visits in April and May and June.
