Summary

Jeffery Saddoris is endlessly curious – about people, about creativity, about line and shape and color – and his personal and professional pursuits are driven by learning, discovering, imagining, listening, celebrating, and making. Jeffery often refers to himself as a “serial conversationalist” and podcasting has become an increasingly important platform for his lifelong interest in learning, exploring, communicating, and sharing about art and artists – between more than 5 years talking about photography on On Taking Pictures, hosting the 12-episode Craft & Vision Podcast, and Process Driven, his ongoing podcast of long-form conversations about creativity and how the creative process manifests itself across a wide range of genres and disciplines.   Photographer Links:    Education Resources:   Candid Frame Resources   Download the free Candid Frame app for your favorite smart device. There's a joke that goes, if you want to make God laugh, tell them your plans.

of no use.

On top of that, I got sick with two back-to-back illnesses, one of which robbed me of my voice

0:44.8

for about two weeks, so now I'm behind.

Luckily, I have a conversation that I recorded a while back with my friend Jeffrey Sedoras,

0:58.3

a former guest of the show and the host of his own popular podcasts.

I had intended to release this as a bonus episode to those of you who support our Patreon effort,

1:12.6

because I was thinking and still intend to change some of the benefits and have this kind of more personal content where I have intimate conversations with people that include more of me. So I'm working on resolving

1:19.6

all the technical issues with the recording system and on re-recording some of those lost

1:24.9

interviews. It's going to be a little crazy, but I hope to stay on our weekly schedule.

1:30.8

This episode is longer than normal, because, as some of you may know, my conversations with Jeffrey

1:36.7

can go pretty deep, but I hope that despite the length, you do find something of worth.

1:43.1

Thanks again, and welcome back.

1:48.7

Yeah, I was listening to your most recent upload in terms of when you solicited people to talk

1:55.7

about their creativity and a lot of them was talking about fear.

1:58.8

That was a big one and doesn't.

2:00.7

I haven't even gotten through all the responses.
