| 1:31.5 | Well, Fadi, welcome to the Candid Frame. It's a pleasure to have you. |

| 1:36.8 | I wanted to talk first before we'd talk about photography, about growing up in Lebanon, |
| 1:40.9 | because you grew up there during the Civil War and the occupation. |
| 1:45.0 | And I really would like to hear your story in terms of what it was like for you and your family growing up during that time. |
| 1:51.0 | Well, you know, I was a kid when, you know, during the Civil War. |
| 1:58.0 | The Civil War started in 75 and I was born in late 78, and it ended in 1990. |
| 2:04.7 | So I kind of, to me, it represents all my childhood. |
| 2:08.3 | But the thing is, as hard as it was, and it was awful, I thought that this was normal. |
