Blysee, the capital of Georgia, the South Caucasus, joined by Michael Jan. Michael

Michael's reporting. The big story is migration, global migration,

generally understood to be the global south moving to the global north.

Now, Michael's in the South Caucasus where the global south

can move to the global north. But in this instance, the war in Ukraine

has reversed the flow. The global north is moving

to the South Caucasus and other parts of Central Asia because of the draft

threat and fact in the Russian Federation. Michael is a veteran of the US

military and so he understands well the choices you have to make when you know

a draft is coming for not only an unpopular and controversial

in a legal war, but also one where the stories are, the

casually rate is very high for young Russian males, very, very high.

Michael, a very good day to you in Blysee. You've come from Yerevan, the capital

of Armenia, and you're now in Blysee, the capital of Georgia. What can you tell us

about the Russian speakers you meet or see or stand beside on the streets in

Blysee and Yerevan in the shops in Yerevan and to Blysee? Are they comfortable?

Good day from to Blysee, Georgia. Right down in Yerevan in Armenia, we're just

left some days ago to come up here. There's a lot of Russians and Ukrainians and many others,

but you hear Russian spoken a lot on the streets in Armenia and here as well.
