Wasn't it wonderful to see William Taylor and George Kent even their names sound like they must have been on the Mayflower talking yesterday in coherent terms about the fact of this Ukrainian phone call.

The first installment in the impeachment probe, I think, was Baffo, was a hit.

I, though, have noted with some disappointment that some of the first reviews are in now granted.

They're from biased sources like everybody's favorite drunk driver, the press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, who declared that the proceedings yesterday were boring, too boring for her.

They don't like to party like she does.

And I think Eric Trump said the same thing and we know he always knows boring from exciting.

But then to me, the devastation came when the same thing was repeated by NBC that the proceedings lacked pizzazz.

I think the answer there is who needs the republic, who needs democracy if you have dancing with the stars. That was my takeaway from that.

Anyway, the whole thing led me to wonder about this constant craving for hyper arousal.
