that we're hearing that Gerald Hulier, a Liverpool legend, has passed away overnight.

And he is a legend, isn't he got it? I'll start with you. He's one of the greets of this football club for what he did for what he won and

just for how he conducted himself throughout his whole time. Yeah absolutely

he's on banners and he's on flags and his quota on banners and flags and

rightly so he'll always be remembered as a key part of Liverpool history and

he'll always be remembered as it as a key part of my life as a red because

look you know I grew up obviously knowing all the tales of

of Liverpool knowing the stories reading the books watching the videos all the

rest of it but my first real experience of of getting all that for myself was under hoolier. You know the 2001 season for

everything that we've done since, for everything that we've won since, that will always be one of

my fondest memories following Liverpool

because I managed to get to all of those finals it was fantastic how those finals went

as well I heard someone sort of bat away not not a red by the way, but someone bat away the idea of winning

that lead cup the other day. And I just thought, well, it might not have been much to you, but it loads to me and I can remember being around people

you know my age and younger who were crying and stuff because they haven't seen Liverpool winner

Sophie before and you know it is extra special when you're in the ground yourself for the first time and

it's not just that as well it's as you say John it's how he conducted himself I think

he was absolutely obsessed with Liverpool both the club and the city.

That was always to our like, and I don't think it was always to other people's life,

and I think we have to say, because, you know, when he was basically having a love him
