Vic, did you ever wonder why not all sparkling wine in the supermarket and in the EU is actually called champagne?

And why champagne is so expensive?

Well, Alex, actually, I have.

You'd be surprised more often than you'd imagine.

And I suspect that finally today I'll get an answer to that.

I didn't know you are buying so much champagne, Vic.

Well, the answer to that lies in a system

which is called Geographic Education

that sounds a bit boring maybe

at first sight, but it's quite interesting.

So there are some products that have a clear connection

to location and production methods

and they are protected, something like champagne.

Or maybe like other products that exist in the EU,

even if they are less known, like Swedish stick candy called Polka-Griser, or Brussels chicory, what we know, chiquon, or maybe even gluff wine from Nuremberg.

Yeah, the famous Nuremberg-mold wine.
