Welcome back for another helping of oysters clams and cuts presented by Bolin media. I am Ross Bolin here with Barrett Dudley to discuss and review episode three of task on HBO.

Another banger, Barrett? Yeah, yeah, I would say so. A banger in the mouth? Sure.

Cuts, that could be that could be double or triple entendre right did you think about that like cuts like like cut with a knife sure cuts like

like the leather vest cut uh as in cutting the product oh yeah yeah look at us cutting the fent

yeah that was intentional yeah so um i deep. That's a good one. Yeah. It was a banger. Look, this was a monologue heavy episode as well. Yeah. And I'm not positive that every single one worked. That was, I did. I've got a couple of notes. But overall, yes, another very solid episode that was quite enjoyable and quite propulsive and, and yeah, we're just, you know, it's really getting us somewhere.

We got a text this morning, you and I did from our buddy Dave over at Washed Media, who said each task episode is better than the previous.

So mainly, I was teeing you up here to see what your thoughts were because...

I didn't think, no, I disagree.

I sort of disagree.

I thought episodes one and two were maybe stronger than episode three.

And it's kind of to be expected.

Like, this was a little more just pushing the story along and getting to know our characters on a deeper level, less action than the prior two episodes for the most part. Yeah. And remember, it's a seven episode season. At some point, they have to do a little bit more character-driven monologue-heavy type stuff. So I thought that's what this was. It wasn't, I'm not saying it was a step down in quality or like the show went off the tracks or anything like that. It was still a good episode. I'm still very much excited about TASC and on board with the season. This one just was my least favorite of the three so far. Um, lucky number, Slevin, seven episodes. A quick reminder up top.
