It was Donald Trump's quote unquote liberation day yesterday. Everybody was

waiting with baited breath in Washington across the world and markets and business as they were

trying to figure out what exactly the president was going to do on Wednesday when it comes to

tariffs.

And it's been pretty interesting.

Just a few hours after Trump's Rose Garden announcement, the Senate, with the help of four

Republicans narrowly voted to terminate Trump's declaration of a national emergency for fentanyl

trafficking, which he used to justify 25% tariffs on Canadian imports.

That's going nowhere in the House, of course, and is a slight protest by a few members
