I welcome Bill Rajov, the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy, senior fellow, keeping the Long War Journal,

and Ambassador Hesana Connie, former ambassador to the United States from Pakistan,

to comment on not only the disturbance throughout the UMA for these many years,

but the disturbance right now because of tariffs.

The news from Pakistan, for example, Pakistan stock exchange plunges

8,000 points, trade halted. The news from Lesotho, thanks to the New York Times in these last days.

The sootho is a small African company, part of the supply chain for clothing.

The tariffs announced by the White House mean 50% for Losotho and 29% for reciprocal tariff for Pakistan.

Mr. Ambassador, I begin with you because you watch your Pakistan very closely and it

helpful to reach into not quite the global south but near

two. These emerging economies, they're not the primary conversation going on in Europe and the

United States and China right now. Those are the big boys with sharp elbows. But what is your
