This is the air I breathe, this is the air I breathe, your holy presence, living in me.

That song has so much history.

Doesn't it evoke the early years and learning to worship and oh my gosh, oh yeah, I'm recalling

particular scenes with that song of where we were in particular moments, but I'm also noticing

just in this moment, my breath slowed down.

I said it was almost like I went down one gear a little slower, a little deeper, a little

bit more present, just even in that little piece.

Yes, yes, your holy presence, living in me.

Coming back to the whole idea of the parable of the 10 bridesmaids and we rift a little

bit on it in the past, but let me catch you up on that conversation.

So in Matthew 24, Jesus describes the unique kinds of pressures that are going to come

upon the human race, but particularly the friends of God in what we would call the last

hours of this chapter of the story.

As the story begins to really sweep towards its climax, here at the end of the age, he

rifts on, you know, losing heart, love growing cold, you know, crisis, trauma, this, that

and the other thing.

And he's trying to prepare us for it.

He's not trying to be heavy, you know, he's compassionate and he's saying, look, I want

to prepare you for this.

So he says, loving things like don't let your heart be weighed down.
