Summary

It all started the summer before high school, when her family moved into what seemed like the perfect home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. But the moment they arrived, things were… off. Doors wouldn’t open, even when unlocked. Strange kids from next door appeared at all hours. And then one night, while everyone slept, something began tapping at her bedroom window—over and over again. At first, she blamed the neighborhood kids. But when she pulled up the blinds to catch them in the act… no one was there. What followed was a string of terrifying moments she still can’t explain to this day.

0:29.5	Hi, Tony. My name is Jessica. Hi, Harper, Carol, and Todd. Pretty cool. Do you have a redhead? I am also a redhead. I am from Arizona, but my ghost story does not take place in Arizona. My ghost story takes place in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
1:05.9	So the summer before my first year of high school, so it would have been like roughly 99, 2000.
1:23.6	My late stepfather got a new job with GM and it forced to move to Indiana. And my parents found this house. And the rent was like super affordable. And it was like right where we needed to be. And it was perfect for our family for it was myself, my brother, my mom, and the stepdad.
1:49.0	And things started almost immediately to my brother, my mom, and myself arriving.
1:59.6	My stepdad had lived in the house previously for three weeks before that while we packed up our house here and put everything in the U-Haul.
2:09.8	So arriving to the house, my stepdad was not home. He was at work. He had sent my mom a key or brought it back with
2:21.5	them and I don't remember which when he came home to see us one weekend. And they took,
2:30.8	so we got to the house and everything.
2:41.7	And then took the key to go open the front door.
2:46.4	And we couldn't get in.
2:55.6	You heard the deadbolt turn. You heard it click as if it was unlocked. The door handle would turn as if it was unlocked, but it wouldn't open.
3:06.6	So we actually, and then we couldn't get any other door open either, not the garage, not the back door, nothing.
3:16.3	So we actually had to call my stepdad, leave the property, and come back.
3:32.0	And as soon as my stepdad got there and turned and opened the door and everything's door opened just fine for him. For us, there was nothing that was going to budge that door.
3:36.0	All right, the big deal. House was built in the 70s.
3:42.8	It's Indiana.
3:44.3	A little weird.
3:45.8	No worries.
3:47.6	So fast forward a couple weeks.
