0:00.0 | Welcome to the Eric Motex Show. Do you know what skin tags are? Anyway, the friend of mine said he could get them off |
0:18.6 | way too for the symptom doctor. And I've got a ton of them which would be real expensive. So I went over to his house and he pulled out some dental |
0:25.8 | balls and wrapped it around each of the tags and out. It hurt like a act. And now they're all infected. Speaking of infected and now your |
0:34.3 | host Eric Motex. Oh man. What a sweet friend. Oh, it's Monday. Albin, it's Monday. You are back. I'm back from the Adirondacks. You are. It's amazing that I could find my way back. That is way up there. |
0:47.4 | The Adirondacks is a four hour drive at least the part I was in from New York City. And I was up at Camp of the Woods. Some people know I'll talk about this more probably in the second hour. |
0:58.8 | But Camp of the Woods in speculator New York is an amazing place. And I am definitely going back next year. We only have to find out when and we may do a thing with |
1:09.6 | listeners who who want to come and be there when I'm there because it's just it's wonderful. Yeah, there's zip lines. There's canoeing. There was rain every single day. It was incredible. Actually this time I've never nobody's ever seen anything like it rained every day. Oh my. Yeah, it was it was kind of wild. But who cares. Camp of the Woods. You're out there in the middle with your canoe and it almost sank with all that water. No, it was it was incredible. We we went. The week that I mean last week was each week they have a day. |
1:39.6 | And then we're going to have a different preacher in the in the great auditorium in Tibbet, auditorium beneath beneath which is the crypt of the founder pop Tibbet. |
1:51.6 | The very bones. I'm not your friend. I'm sorry. But anyway, they have a different speaker. And this time his name is Lon Solomon. He was the head pastor of the McLean Bible church down in the DC area. |
2:05.6 | And I'm a phenomenal phenomenal. You have that. Your new week. Yeah, my new letter. We're going to have him on this program to tell his story incredible story. But he was the speaker for the week. We just we just had a blast of a time. Now by the way, in a couple of seconds, we have a big surprise for you folks. Here it is. We're going to have on this program in the studio. Tammy Joe Schultz. Does that name ring a bell. Tammy Joe Schultz a couple of months ago. |
2:34.6 | A plane an air an engine blew out of a plane. It was a it was a Southwest Airlines flight. An engine blue. It caused the wind a window to break a woman died. |
2:50.6 | A horrible situation. The pilot is a woman named Tammy Joe Schultz. She's going to be here in a couple of minutes. She's probably right outside here now. She and her husband contacted me because she said that they they knew my writing. They've read my books and they're Christians and they wanted me to write her story. |
3:11.6 | And I said, what? You're the woman that and she is the woman that landed the plane. She is the first one of the first female fighter pilots in the US Navy. This woman is a hero. She's absolutely amazing. So she's going to be here in a couple of minutes to tell her really miraculous story. This is a miracle Monday story. Actually, this is not necessarily a miracle, but it sure sounds like you can judge for yourself. But but she'll be. |
3:41.6 | On the line with us actually, I guess she's not in the studio, but she and her husband, I've been in touch with them and I am thrilled to get them on to tell her story. |
3:51.6 | A couple of other things. I want to say that we're still doing this campaign with food for the poor and now guess what? What? Remember we were in the lead. That's right. We were ahead. We started out. Right. |
4:05.6 | And now we decided for change of pace. We would be last. Yeah. Why not? Try that. We've only raised $12,000. Yeah. And so I guess this is look. I know a lot of the people who listen to this program give a lot to many different things. This is something where for $50 you can help feed a kid for a year. In fact, $50 feeds a kid for a year. |
4:28.6 | I hope anybody who's listening will give to food for the poor, their sponsor of this program because we know that they do very, very well with the money that they get. |
4:39.6 | This is not one of these big bureaucracies. So go to mtaxastalk.com and you can see actually, I've been, I think the coolest thing is for $50 you can feed a kid for a year and he gets water for life. Yes. Because they're drilling wells. This is for the poorest of the poor in Guatemala in Haiti. It's amazing stuff. So I just want to say that if you give $50 you can feed a kid for $150. Obviously that's three children. |
5:07.6 | Five kids is $250. I want to get people involved with their own families that if you have kids and you want to teach them about giving and what it means when you look into what's going on in places like Guatemala and Haiti, the level of poverty is so outrageous. Just to be able to tell your kids that for $50 we could feed one kid just like you for a year. |
5:31.6 | That's how the economies of these places are different from our economy, which makes us extremely wealthy by world standards and by the standards of these countries, it's off the charts. So I want to encourage people to go to mtaxastalk.com and click on the banner and album. If people give, what do they get? |
5:50.6 | They get four, not one or two, but four Eric Matacus shows not even three stickers. Not even three, but four. Four stickers. Yes. The stickers are gorgeous. And by the way, we're going to do this. We're going to have a contest, folks. If you have you can't get these stickers. |
6:07.6 | Unless you give to food for the poor. So for the minimum is $50 to get, but these are big gorgeous stickers. And we're going to have a contest for people taking photos of these stickers in weird places and stuff. And we're going to, there's going to be a big grand prize for that. But you got to get the sticker. They're gorgeous. And it's just a way for us to thank you. Now if you give $150, you get a free annual subscription to mtaxasuper. Yes. Now I'm going to say this. This is the last time we can do this. |
