Weekend talks between the U.S. and Iran seem to get neither side closer to peace.

So now the U.S. is blockading Iran's seaports.

How do you enforce this?

If there's a very large crude carrier carrying two million barrels of Iranian oil,

is the U.S. Navy going to destroy that?

It's going to blow it up, or probably more likely, would you board that tanker with a seal team?

There's a blockade underway of Iran's seaports at the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf.

No ships can make port.

That's the result of a weekend's worth of negotiating during a ceasefire.

The talks between the Iranian side and the U.S. side with Vice President J.D. Vance didn't result in Iran agreeing to give up nuclear weapons or much

else. But a full naval blockade is a pretty intense move by President Trump, who promises

any ships under any flags trying to break that blockade will be met with interdiction,

boarding, or something more fierce.

And yet the president says Iran still wants to talk.

So maybe they'll talk more.
