Today on Roon soup we are speaking with Mike Cleland. Mike is a blogger, artist, author, abduction researcher and UFO experienceer. Mike, thank you very much for your time.

Oh, you're very welcome. I'm honored to be here.

I'm actually quite excited about this one.

I have the sense.

I apologize, I have only read bits and pieces of your one book Starships and I my gut sense is that you're going to ask better questions than I usually get asked.

Well, I hope so. I'm going to ask you the same question I ask everyone to start with though, Mike.

Were you a weird kid? You know, I was a weird kid in in a in a in a good sort of way I think I was pretty

quirky in high energy and and I in at the same time I kind of remember my childhood and I think I was like very

charismatic. You know, I think I've lost some of that. I was really

charismatic as a little kid and I think I I being, what's the term, like I would make haunted houses in the

basement and I somehow managed to convince all my friends to like play roles in the haunted houses

and stuff like that. I'm not sure I could call people up and get that same response these days.

Come and dress up in my basement is different when you're an adult.

And try to scare people, yeah.

And lay down on the floor, covered in aetchup and stuff like that, exactly, yeah.

So nothing, I mean we're going to get on to some of the experiences that led to the founding

of the blog and so on, but was there anything in the high strange

realm from your childhood that you remember and more to the point either remember

making a mark on you or not making a mark on you?
