His latest in English, The Untold History of History 25 books published in multiple languages.

His latest in English, The Untold History of Healing, is an exploration of Paleolithic herb law and

medicine, as well as which components of this law have survived down to us today. Dr Stahl, thank you very much for your time.

Yeah, glad to be here.

All right, well we have a traditional question number one around here,

which is, Wolf, were you a weird kid?

I don't know I mean how could I tell if I was weird, maybe to some people.

You know, I was born in Germany, in the Russian zone of occupation, and we fled my mother and I when I was just about five, crawled through the barbed wire near the,

I mean, near the Russian Guard Tower. That was the safest way to go across and landed in West Germany

which was for me a totally different world dialects and so on were different. And then it wasn't too long. I was 11 we went to the

states and in the states I think I was considered pretty weird.

It was a time before there was jet air travel.

It took 10 days of voyaging across the ocean.

Everything was different.

The way when dressed was different.

My aunt, American aunt, took me the next day right to the store, cut my hair, so I looked

all right, you got a butcher haircut, you know, and then a t-shirt, which in Germany they didn't have at the time and my later

holes in shorts had to be traded in for jeans.
